Derrik Albertelli

Derrik Albertelli has performed in a variety of Boston-based acts, ranging from aggressive heavy metal to avant garde performance art. Along with Swarm of Eyes, he has performed with The Boston Typewriter Orchestra, Motokops2000, Smorgasbord, Sister Sorrow and Persian Blue. Though largely self-taught, Derrik studied briefly under the tutelage of Richard Edward Horner. Musically drawing influences from the Big Four, thrash, progressive metal and classical music, Derrik also finds inspiration in world literature and film.
